![]() Dr. Steven Czekala Dr. Steven Czekala has been practicing in the San Ramon Valley since graduating from UCSF School of Dentistry in 1987. A product of the San Ramon Valley School system, he received his undergraduate degree in biology at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, where he was on a swimming scholarship. He remains an active competitor in swimming today and is an internationally ranked Masters swimmer. Dr. Czekala is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Contra Costa Dental Society, where he served on the board. He is a supporter of numerous community and civic activities, and is extremely proud to be the founder/sponsor of the Marys Scholarship at California High School in San Ramon. In his spare time, Dr. Czekala enjoys Scrabble, world travel, and cooking….he makes one killer lemon cheesecake. |
![]() Dr. Donald Schinnerer A native Californian, Dr. Don Schinnerer was born and raised in Long Beach, Ca. He graduated from Long Beach Polytechnic High School and attended Occidental College for his predental education. Following Occidental, he was accepted to and graduated from dental school at Northwestern University in Chicago. Dr. Schinnerer is a Life member of the Contra Costa Dental Society, California Dental Association, and American Dental Association. In addition, he is a member of the Fellow American College of Dentists, International College of Dentists, and Perrie Fauchard Academy. Both the Contra Costa Dental Society and the California Dental Association honored Dr. Schinnerer for his 25 years of voluntary service to organized dentistry. He also received CDA’s Distinguished Leadership Award. Dr. Schinnerer was recently appointed to represent California dentists on the American Dental Association’s Council on Government Affairs. His broad-ranging and passionate commitment to organized dentistry and his community are the primary reasons he was selected to serve on the ADA Council that meets in Washington, D.C., beginning in 2008. |
![]() Dr. Lisa Cannatella Dr. Lisa Cannatella graduated attaining the highest scholastic standing in her dental class at the University of California, San Francisco in 1993. She was awarded many honors and scholarships for her scholastic achievements, service to the university community, leadership and research. Dr. Cannatella views the dental profession as an opportunity and challenge to express herself in a rarely exposed art form. She enjoys building relationships with patients and helping them to feel confident about their smiles. Dr. Cannatella is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Contra Costa Dental Society. Dr. Cannatella has a large family consisting of one husband, two children, three dogs, three cats, two guinea pigs and two fish. In her spare time she loves to read, design, garden, walk, and she can drive a mean carpool! |
![]() Dr. Priyanka Moonka Dr. Moonka is the newest addition to our practice. She earned her D.D.S from the University of Pacific, San Francisco, prior to which she practiced dentistry in India. She was the valedictorian of her class and is a member of American Dental Association and California Dental Association. Dr. Moonka is a new mother of a three month old baby girl. In her spare time she “used to” enjoy photography, reading, hiking and anything to do with s’mores. |
